Former National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), chairman, Edo State chapter and National Vice President, National Youth Council of Nigeria, South-South Zone, Comrade Innocent Ajayi has urged youths in the state to shun violence and thuggery as some political parties begin primaries election in the state.
He made the appeal while speaking newsmen in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
He explained that election is not war and that it was very difficult to see politicians children involving in thuggery.
Comrade Ajayi further decried the violence that occured at Lushville hotel, Benin City, venue of the All Progressives Congress (APC) collation center for their gubernatorial primaries .
He also appealed to politicians to allow the will of the people prevail and avoid instigating violence and thuggery during and after the primary election.
