In order to prevent the break down of law and order, there has been fierce looking operatives, mounting guard at the Lushville hotel, Gapiona GRA, venue of the Collation center of the All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial Primaries in the state.
Recall that thugs on Saturday 17, February 2024, stormed the venue of the Collation center and beat up Journalists while their gadgets were also destroyed in the process.
The disruption took place when it was said that Senator Monday Okpebholo was leading in the local government areas called thus far.
Okpebholo was said to have won six out of the eight local government areas while Dennis Idahosa only secured two local government areas.
It was said that, while the exercise for the screening was still ongoing, supporters of both aspirants have mounted themselves at the various strategical places and the dreaded security operatives are not going to allow a repeat of the show of shame that took place last time as they were seeing singing songs of war and boosting their moral.
