The junior pastor of God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Int’l Incorporated, Benin City, Pastor Duke Iyamu, has urged Christians to anchor their hope on God who is the author and finisher of their faith and not on the Nigerian government.
He gave the admonishion while speaking on the topic “Divine Arrangement” at the church service in Benin.
Taking his bible reading from the book of 2 Kings 8:1-6, Exodus 2:5-6 and Romans 8:28, he said all things work together for good to them that love God and to them who are called according to His purpose.
He said though the economic situation might be tough, they should trust God who has the ability to turn things around for their good.
Pastor Iyamu said when there is a divine arrangement, Christians struggle less to achieve their set goals in life.
The clergyman added that with a divine arrangement, when King Pharaoh said that all male children should be killed in Egypt, God made a way for baby Moses to be saved, stressing that God who did it in the past is very much alive to do it again.
He further urged the believers not to be downcast but should have a renewed hope in God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what they can ever imagine.
