Following the sad news that broke out in the Nigerian film industry that one of its known actors, Junior Pope was reportedly dead in the early hours of the day, has proven to be false.
He was reported to have fallen along side with four other of his colleagues into Anam River in Anambra State on their way to a location and got drowned in the process.
It was also said that after rigorous searching, their bodies were recovered lifeless.
His colleagues have taken to different social media platforms to mourn his shocking death.
However, the good news now, is that, the actor is alive and he recovering from the unfortunate incident.
It was said that the actor was rushed to the hospital in Asaba, Delta State.
It is said that, this is the second time he is cheating death.
It was gathered that the father of three had in 2021 escaped death after a fire incident destroyed his house.
The actor, who said he was so thankful to God for saving his entire family, took to his Instagram handle to show appreciation to God.
He said his house went up in flames while the family was sleeping but God intervened, maintaining that he was safe and no one sustained any injury.
On this, Nigerians pray for long life and prosperity for him and wish him well in his chosen career.
