Former chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Edo State chapter, Mr. Osagie Elegbe is currently not finding it funny at the moment.

The movie star in a video making the rounds, shows where he was narrating how he met a friend of his who once had a car which he uses to make ends meet but the activities of those selling spare parts at Uwelu-Evbareke has compared him to become an emergency bricklayer.

The renowned Benin actor and movie director, said his friend told him that his car’s engine was bad and he decided to take it to Uwelu-Evbareke to buy the engine.

He said after buying it, the engine didn’t work. So, he decided to return it but due to the strong union that exists at the market, the seller didn’t change it for him.

Elegbe said that he never believed that such a thing can happen not until it happened to him.

Elegbe, who played a leading role in epic movie titled the “Blood of Enogie”, said such activities can be so frustrating.

Narrating his ordeal, Elegbe said, last year, he also went to fix the engine of his car but was told that once bought and taking away, and spends three days with you, it cannot be accepted when brought back.

He lamented that after spending millions for the purchase of his engine, it didn’t work and when he decided to return it, he was told it cannot be accepted.

He however decried this exploitative tendencies of the spare parts dealers in the state just as he calls on those in authorities to wade in and save them from this harsh situation in the state.
