The general overseer and founder of God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Benin City, Rev. Sunny Akenbor has called on believers in Christ to engage themselves in meaningful ventures and desist from hiding under the grace of God to be lazy.
He made the call during the church service/14th year anniversary of the church in Benin City.
Rev. Akenbor said it is so disheartening that believers who should lead by example by being so industrious have become so very lazy hiding under the grace of God.
Akenbor said that such attitude is very wrong because God Himself has promised to always bless the works of our hands, therefore, we must emulate Paul in the bible who was one of the leading apostles of God, yet, he was very hardworking and resourceful.
“But by the grace of God, I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me”, 1 Corinthians 15:10.
He said grace is results oriented adding that as a servant of God, he has laboured, fasted and prayed and God has blessed the works of his hands.
The man of God who said the grace of God in a man’s life makes things so easy for him, stressed that there are other components that should be added, such as favour, wisdom and knowledge.
He said when the aforementioned are available in a believer’s life, things become so very easy for him.
He however called on christian faithful to apply all that they have been taught and be a shinning example to the world.
