Niger Delta Progressive Agenda For Change has called on Boyloaf, a former Militant Commander from Ezeotu in Bayelsa State to give peace a chance and join hands with Tompolo and Dr Dennis Otuaro to work for a better Niger Delta, devoid of violence and criminality.

In joint statement sign by its President and Secretary General, Comrade Goddey Enemieye Money and Comrade Henry Oyobolo, respectively, stated that Tompolo is a household name in Ijaw land and the Niger Delta Region at large and has worked hard to see Peaceful coexistence among the tribes across the region and has dragged in developmental projects to his people and beyond including Federal Marinetime University Okerenkoko etc which none other Militant Leaders is yet to do but all they do is self empowerment, build mansions and drive on exclusive cars.

Comrade Money said, under the past government led by President Buhari, the region was almost going into extinction, All federal agencies like NDDC was mere structure and every funds meant for projects was used to fund political parties and political functions.

He said Amnesty Programme was dead after President Jonathan Goodluck where Dr Kingsley Kuku was head of the Amnesty Programme.

Money alleged that President Buhari make sure he under fund the programme thereby appointing retired Army Generals that does not know anything about the struggle and the region and there was no one to speak for them as a people and region.

According to him “Niger Delta was put back to live with patriotic persons from Gbanranmatu including Mathew Tonlagha and Tompolo which bring part of the surveillance contract handled by Tantita.

“Mr President Tinubu in his Renew Hope Agenda will to tackle the Niger Delta Region vis-a-vis the Amnesty Programme and appointed Dr Dennis Otuaro as the administrator.

“Since inception in office, he has engaged all critical stakeholders, Kings, youth groups and women inclusive.

“He assured us of Mr President’s Renew Hope and his willingness to give priority in developing the region of course, Mr President has the political will to drive the process.

“For, Dr Dennis Otuaro, he has introduced policies and programmes to better the beneficiaries and the region at large staff welfare inclusive.

“We hereby urge everyone to rally support and help with noble ideas and innovation that will take us to the next level. Anyone calling for his replacement is an enemy of the Presidential Amnesty Programme and Niger Delta Region as a whole and will be treated as such.

“Once more we salute Mr President for giving us one of our best who is the right person for the job at this time”, Money added.
