Director General, New Media, Bayelsa state, Mr. Kola Oredipe, has tasked Nigerian journalists to eschew the attitude of knowing-it-all and be opened to learning as they carry out their profession.
He gave the advice during a brief stop over at the Newsroom of Radio Nigeria, Bronze FM, Benin City.
Mr. Oredipe also admonished media practitioners not to see their transfer or change of beats as a witch-hunt but should always take it in good faith adding that such a switch could be a means to higher heights in their journalistic career.
Mr. Oredipe who is also an Assistant Director News in Radio Nigeria also reiterated on the need for respect for constituted authorities in the newsroom as that would make for harmonious working relationship.
Mr. Kola Oredipe, a former Head of News in Bronze FM, was in Benin for the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN Board election.
Newstracktoday reports that Kolawole Oredipe, who is the DG New Media to governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, is the Vice Chairman, Bayelsa State Athletics Association and founder, Samkay Athletics Club.
His desire is to catch the children young and groom them to champions that can represent the country globally in the world of sports.
