The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State council has mourned the passing of its colleague and member, Mr Gabriel Enologhase, of the Correspondents’ Chapel, who died after a brief illness.
This was contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the council, Dr. Festus Alenkhe and the secretary of the council, Andy Egbon, respectively and made available to Journalists in the state.
According to the statement “the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, with deep sorrow, announces the passing of our colleague and member, Mr Gabriel Enologhase, of the Correspondents’ Chapel, after a brief illness.
“Until his death on the night of Sunday, June 22, 2025, Mr Enologhase was a dedicated journalist with Vanguard Newspapers, known for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to the ethics of the journalism profession.
“The council extends heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, friends, colleagues, and the entire media community. He will be remembered for his contributions to journalism in Edo State and beyond.
“Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
“May his soul rest in perfect peace”,
