The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), said its Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI has again dealt a deadly blow on terrorists and their logistics hub situated at Guduf in the Mandara Mountains.
Newstracktoday reports that Guduf is located in the Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, northeastern Nigeria.
The strike which led led to the destruction of key terrorist structures and logistics hubs in the area has significantly reduced their operational capacity.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame who is the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, said “Acting on credible intelligence and prior confirmatory Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), NAF air assets executed a coordinated operation that identified multiple terrorist structures and logistics hubs actively supporting insurgent activities within the area.
“Employing precision targeting and strict adherence to rules of engagement, NAF platforms engaged and neutralised hostile elements and their infrastructure with lethal accuracy, while maintaining due regard for the protection of civilians and the surrounding environment.
“The strike resulted in the destruction of key terrorist structures and logistics hubs, significantly degrading their operational capability and reinforcing the NAF’s relentless posture in denying adversaries freedom of action and safeguarding national security”.
