ABUJA, NIGERIA-As it prepares for the 2nd Africa Food Surplus Summit, slated for February 4-6, 2026 in Dutse, Jigawa State, Nigeria, the management of Alford Conferences Ltd has announced an expansion of its partnership with Kingabyte Webtech to drive new web design projects for the Nigerian and African public sector in the agricultural space. Both companies have worked together on various web design projects from January 2021 till date.
This announcement was contained in a press statement issued in Abuja, Nigeria, during the weekend by Mallam Awwal Ibrahim Ndako, the company’s Head of Corporate Communications.
In the press statement, the Chairman/CEO of Alford Conferences Limited, Mr. Frederick Apeji, thanked Engr. Abel Obakpolor, CEO of Kingabyte Webtech, for his valuable partnership on various event-related web design projects from January 2021 till date.
“Abel and I have worked very well together over the past four years, and we are most grateful for the work he and his team have done for us to provide an online global readership platform for REVENUE Magazine, our flagship publication, as well as for handling Tractors for Africa, our recently established online news and advocacy platform to support agro-mechanization in Nigeria and the rest of Africa. We are pleased to entrust his company with our new online projects for the Nigerian and African agricultural space.”
Apeji explained that, “The first of these projects is to roll out www.alfordeventparticipants.com.ng to manage and showcase the Nigerian and foreign partners, sponsors and exhibitors at our various events, starting with the 2nd Africa Food Surplus Summit which is scheduled for February 4-6, 2026.
The additional tasks for implementation by the partnership, starting from September 2025, include: a web design programme for the five emirates and the 27 local government areas of Jigawa (the host state of the 2nd Africa, food Surplus Summit 2026); a web design programme for the ministry of agriculture of the 37 subnationals of Nigeria (the host country of the summit); and a multi-lingual rejig of the website of the ministry of agriculture of the 54 countries of Africa.”
The Alford Conferences Boss added that, “We are especially excited about the web translation project for Africa’s agricultural public sector. This is a low-hanging fruit for the continent as it forges greater cooperation and integration of its agricultural industry.
And it is in line with the aspiration of African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), African Development Bank (AfDB), African Export Import Bank (Afreximbank) and even Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) where Africa leads in terms of the number of country memberships.”
“As far as agribusiness is concerned, we want Africa to be able to do business with itself more seamlessly and more effectively in its four principal business languages of English, French, Arabic and Portuguese in 2025 and beyond.”
