The All Progressives Congress Men Organization (APC-CMO) has said that it would host a Pre-Inauguration High Mass for the Edo State Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo on Monday, November 11, 2024.
The event is scheduled for 12 noon at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Airport Road, Benin City.
According to Don Ofure Osehobo, Chairman of the APC-CMO, the Mass welcomes all Edo residents, regardless of denomination, as an opportunity to commit the inauguration to divine guidance.
“As you know, Senator Monday Okpebholo and Deputy Governor-elect Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa will be formally sworn in on Tuesday, November 12, 2024,” Osehobo said.
“We organized this Mass because we believe that God’s hand is upon both of them, and we want to seek His guidance for a successful inauguration.”
The Mass, expected to last about an hour, will feature a special procession. Supporters and well-wishers of the Governor-elect and Deputy Governor-elect are invited to join in dancing to the altar for blessings.
