BEDC Hails Nigerian Workers, Staff Resilience On Workers Day

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BEDC Electricity Plc, Mr. Deolu Ijose has hailed the Nigerian workers for putting in their best in ensuring that government programmes and policies are sustained.

He also thanked his staff for their dedication to duty in ensuring that customers in the company’s franchise states of Edo, Delta Ondo and Ekiti are adequately being served.

This was contained in statement signed by him and made available to journalists in Benin City.

He said that despite the daunting challenges, the staff have been able to putting in their best to deliver optimally.

Mr. Ijose said that the successes recorded by the company can be best ascribed to the team spirit that has existed among management and staff.

“As May Day 2024 dawns on us, we must reflect on the incredible journey we’ve undertaken together as a team. It’s a moment to pause, appreciate, and celebrate the remarkable effort each of you brings to our shared vision every single day.

“It is a reminder of the incredible team we are and the extraordinary things we can achieve together.

“Our achievements in the past year has been a testament to our collective strength and resilience.

“We have faced challenges that tested us in ways we never imagined, yet through it all, your unwavering commitment and perseverance have been nothing short of inspiring.

“From the field workers ensuring the lights are on, to the dedicated support teams behind the scenes working tirelessly to improve our services, each of you play an indispensable role in our organization’s success.

“Your passion, dedication, and determination are the driving forces behind everything we have accomplished.

“As we stand together on this May Day celebration, let us not only celebrate our achievements but also acknowledge the hurdles we’ve overcome and the lessons we’ve learnt along the way.
