It was celebration galore at God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Omoze Branch, Benin, as the children of the church marked their Annual Harvest Thanksgiving, titled “Open Heaven” in a grand style.
The event which saw the children in full attendance, gave room for them to showcase all that they have been taught and leaving no one in doubt that they have actually been tutored and not only been tutored but have also internalized all that they have been taught by their coordinators.
The event was spiced and garnished with a lot of varieties such as drama, choir ministration, break dance, newscasting and others, and these made the congregants glued to their seats while applauses rain uninterrupted.
Speaking on the theme of the harvest, the children coordinator, pastor Mrs. Rebecca Jonathan . A, said it was well chosen considering the prevailing circumstances in the country.
Taking her bible reading from Psalms 78:25, she said in the time of acute shortages of foods and hunger, God fed the children of Israelites in the wilderness with the food of the angels.
Pastor Rebecca said the heaven was opened for the children of Israelites in the time past and that God is still capable of meeting their day-to-day needs no matter how difficult things might be and that all that they just need is faith in Him.
The children coordinator further called on parents present to capitalize on the harvest thanksgiving to be grateful to God for giving them children in whose instance they are celebrating the day with them and they are being called proud parents, noting that if they were to be purchased with money, none of them would have been able to afford it.
She urged parents to be always grateful to God and to also commit their wards to God for protections and for His blessings.
