The assistant pastor of God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Benin, Pastor Duke Iyamu, has reminded christian faithful of the possibility of God still stepping into their case even at the eleventh hour.
He gave the assurance while speaking on the topic:”Yes, it is possible” at the church service in Benin.
Pastor Iyamu said the close of the year is usually seen as a period of stock taking and appraisal.
He said in this time, people are either being commended for doing something great or reprimanded for not meeting up to standards being set by oneself or by an organization adding that despite all these, if they have the faith and believe, God can still show up and turn things around in their favour.
He said God has the capacity to wade into their situations and right their wrongs, compensate them for their losses just like the woman with the issues of blood that got healed permanently from her ailment that has rendered her incapacitated for several years.
Taking his bible reading from the book of Luke 18:27, 1:37, he said such portions depicted where God Himself made the impossible happened in the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus whom God sent Angel Gabriel to, saying that, such is a clear demonstration of God’s power.
” Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God”, Luke 1:37.
He said the hands of God is still readily available to cause the impossibility to happen and that all that is needed is to key into His promises.
The clergyman added that for God to do the impossible in their lives, they must rest on His unfailing promises, be full of prayers, take praises as their weapons just like Paul and Silas did in the prison and have a positive mindset.
