The Edo State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has eulogized the choice of the former Senate President, David Mark as the national chairman of the party, describing it as a turning point in the history of the Nigeria democracy and for the party by extension.
The state chairman of the party, Hon. Odion Kennedy, revealed this while extending the party’s goodwill message to him in Benin.
Hon. Kennedy said the party is with Senator Mark as he takes up the tasks of righting the wrongs in the nation’s politics.
Kennedy said that Senator Mark’s wealth of experience, sterling leadership qualities, and deep-rooted democratic values, have already begun to rekindle hope and confidence in the future of the ADC across the nation.
His words “Senator David Mark’s entrance into the national leadership of our party marks a new dawn for the ADC.
“His impeccable track record as a former Senate President and statesman of repute is a great asset to our party and we are confident that under his visionary leadership, the ADC will rise to become a formidable force in Nigeria’s politics”, Kennedy added.
