Newstracktoday reports that the endorsement took place at the Indoor Sports Complex of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, venue of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial Primaries.
Igbinedion said that she has looked around among the aspirants and has come to realize that he (Asue Ighodalo) is capable of leading the state.
The former Honorable said that she believes that it is the turn of the Edo Central to produce the next governor and she is supporting that agenda.
She said that it was her desire to have been the governor of the state having served as the youngest House of Representatives member but now that her aspiration didn’t scale through, she would rather endorse Asue Ighodalo, one of the governorship aspirants to emerge winner of the governorship primary.
