The Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, ably led by Dr. Festus Alenkhe has congratulated Prince Kassim Afegbua on his appointment as Commissioner of Information and Strategy.
The Edo NUJ also extended same to other newly inaugurated commissioners in the state.
The union described the appointment of Prince Afegbua, as a square peg in a square hole.
It also expressed absolute confidence that Prince Afegbua will deploy his expertise to bear as a journalist and communication specialist in contributing to the development of the state.
The union described him as an asset to the present administration, judging from his track records of diligence, integrity and hard work.
The union further urged him to sustain the friendship and collaboration as partners in the line of his duty as commissioner in the state.
