The general overseer and founder, God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Benin Rev. Sunny Akenbor has doused the various tensions associating with the remaining parts of the months of the year often refers to as the “Ember months” saying only the counsel of the Lord that shall stand.
He gave the assurance while speaking on the topic “Only the counsel of the Lord shall stand” during the Sunday church service in Benin.
Rev. Akenbor who took his bible reading from the book of Job 5:12, Isaiah 8:10 and from other sections of the scripture, said though the wicked ones may gather against the children of God but as it has always been, all will certainly be thwarted.
“He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands can’t perform their enterprise”, Job 5:12.
Akenbor maintained that the remaining parts of the months are usually being feared because of the various evils believed to have been associating with them but as for the children of God, the rest of the months of the year are meant for progress and for prosperity adding that as children of God, they should not entertain any fear because the Almighty is involved in all that concern them.
The clergyman added that some of the unpleasant situations occuring in the lives of some individuals are not really because they have sinned against God but they are caused by the wicked ones who are just being envious of their progress adding that they should not bother themselves anymore because He will surely avenge them.
He called on the christian faithful to recommit themselves to God, live the life that is pleasant to Him and through then, their safety is guaranteed.
