He disclosed this when he received the state deputy governor, Philip Shaibu who visited him in his resident in Benin City.

Dr. Aziegbemi who said his experience was a bitter one, thanked God that he came out alive.

Recall that the State PDP chairman, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi was kidnapped in a commando-like style on his way home after having a meeting with the state governor on Friday March 15, 2024.

He however spent over a week in the den of his abductors.

On the part of the August visitor, Philip Shaibu, he said “We came to celebrate Easter with our chairman and also thank God for his safe return home from the den of kidnappers.”
