The event which took place at the church auditorium at 12, Omozee Street, off MM. Way, Benin City, saw members in their large numbers in attendance and were all well dressed to suit the occasion of the day.
Ranging from the song renditions from the choir and the drama presentation by the White Vision, they all spoke to the tune of the moment, and the nomenclature of the church, which is God’s Greater Grace General Assembly.
Speaking on the topic “Greater Grace”, the general overseer and founder of the church, Rev. Sunny Akenbor, said grace which is the unmerited favour is what has taken the church to where it is.
He said when he looked at how the church started, and where it is today, he has come to realize the importance of grace upon the commission.

Speaking from the book of Zechariah 4:4-9, he said there are various dimensions of grace and that the church operates in that highest form of grace from above.
“So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
“Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you”, Zachariah 4:4-9.

Corroborating the diverse dimensions of grace, he read from the book of John 1:16 also
“Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given”, John 1:16
He said it is grace that distinguishes a man from his peers adding that, one can work in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and still be broke while one with the grace that works in other sector with a lesser pay may tend to be more prosperous.
The vision bearer of the church said that links to the level of grace that existed in the lives of both workers.
The man of God reiterated that Apostle Paul was not among the 12 disciples of Jesus but had a resounding works as far as the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is concerned all because of the grace he carries.

“For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God but by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me”,1 Corinthians 15:9-10.
The clergyman maintained that what believers should crave for, is the grace of God and nothing more because it has the ability to break protocols, takes one from the rare and place him in the fore, and make him a cynosure to behold.
He said all the wealth, successes and milestones attained by an individual is not based on his or her dint of hard work and labour but it is God that has shown such one mercy.
“I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favour to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them all”, Ecclesiastes 9:11

He further prayed God Almighty to cause His Grace to rest upon all the members of the church both home and in the diaspora as the year gradually winds up.
