It was a colourful Sunday church service at God’s Greater Grace General Assembly (GGGGA) Int’l Incorporated, Benin, as the members of the church stepped in to see a different settings that amaze them.
A setting that made them to sit down like kings and queens at a roundtable. This arrangement is to mark the Valentine Day celebration though the day is usually celebrated on February 14 every year.
The event availed members the opportunity to listen and ask questions centering on marriage, love and sex and answers were given.
Drama and songs that speak to the season were also presented.
Members equally dressed up to suit the occasion.
Speaking on the topic: “The power of love” taken from the book of John 3:16, the general overseer and founder of the church, Rev. Sunny Akenbor said love is sacrificial but surprisingly, people are not willing to pay the price.
Akenbor said that the bible admonished men to love their wives while their wives are duty bound to be submissive.
“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
“For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
“Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her”, Ephesians 5:22-25
He said love is not self-centered but tends to put others first before self.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”, I Corinthians 13:4-.7
The man of God further decried the way and manner people especially the youths celebrate the Valentine Day.
He said people have 
turned the day into a day for promiscuity forgetting while the day is celebrated.
He called on everyone to emulate Christ and be selfless and to love without string being attached.
