The vision bearer of the Wealthy Dwelling Place of the Most High Ministry, Ann Okodugha, has revealed that her harsh housemaid experiences at the age of six have made her venture into the ministry of praying and taking care of vulnerable widows in the society.

She disclosed this when she feted and gifted over 200 widows with cash, chicken and bags of rice in Benin.

Prophetess Okodugha said her experiences were bad, an act that has made her vowed to always come through for the vulnerable especially the widows in the society.

“My mother is the first wife of my daddy. We were born into a polygamous home. So while I was growing, in my tender age, I was given out as a maid at the age of six.

“So I think I suffered a lot. That one truncates a lot of things in my life.

“So by the time I began to grow, that Christ found me. And immediately He found me, He told me that He was going to use me like the pen of a ready writer. So whatever He asked me to do, that is what I’ll be doing.

“This aspect of my life concerning humanity started when I was very young. By His Grace, let’s say, from the age of 20, when I began to notice after serving the people that I was given to as house help, anywhere I see somebody that is passing through suffering, maybe you are staying with a person, it will look as if that person is playing back my tape.

“There will be this pain in my heart and I would want to rescue the person”, Okoduwa said.

Okodugha who has feted over 800 widows since the inception of the ministry, said government and well meaning Nigerians can partner with her to be able to reach more people.

She commended the Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Bisi Idaomi for donating a sew machine for one of the windows and 10 chickens to be distributed to them.

She said the widows after being fed, they will all go home with bags of rice, chicken and cash to enable them celebrate the Yuletide.
