Member representing Oredo Federal Constituency, Hon. Esosa Iyawe has refuted the rumour making the rounds that he ordered a retriever of the vehicle he personally donated to the Oredo Local Government Secretariat of the Labour Party in Edo State.

Hon. Iyawe refuted the claim via a phone conversation in Benin City.

He said he has given the vehicle to the local government and that he has no business with it anymore.

Recall that an aggrieved member of the party took to the social media to berate his (Iyawe’s) action.

According to the post “Hon. Esosa Iyawe member representing Oredo Federal constituency, sent his aid to retrieve the vehicle he gave to Oredo Local Government Secretariat as utility vehicle.

“What a show of shame and needless pride?,

“The LGA chairman being a fatherly figure and a responsible leader, willingly let go of the said vehicle back to Hon. Iyawe”,

the person who posted the information said.

The person also accused the Honourable of sending some persons to lock up the secretariat but they were resisted.

“Lastly he sent thugs to the Oredo Council Secretariat to lock down the premises but guess what? Men Mounted and resisted such a useless and shameful act by someone who is supposed to be Honorable but wishes to be associated with dishonourable people.

“Note: This is the same person bragging that he is for Olumide Akpata project meanwhile he’s retrieving vehicle he has already given to the LGA long ago for his campaign use. Who is deceiving who now?

“We know from a reliable source, himself and his cohort are working for APC but na backyard Dem go end up for the APC.

“#What a shameful move!!!!!? The person asked rhetorically.

But in a swift reaction, Iyawe said that all that they have said about him were all false.

He said he neither sent for the retrieving of a vehicle nor sent persons to go and shutdown the secretariat.

Hon. Iyawe added that he is in full support of Olumide Akpata winning the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
