Former Board of Trustees (BoT) member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon Charles Idahosa, has tasked the Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC) not to rely on federal might but to put their house together and work for the victory of the party in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
He gave the task while announcing his defection back to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, along with his supporters.
Idahosa expressed his concerns over the possibility of governor Godwin Obaseki and his PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo, winning the September 21st governorship election, calling it the greatest misfortune that could happen to the Edo people.
In his statement, Idahosa urged the APC not to rely on “federal might” to win the election, but instead to work together to return the State to the APC.
He emphasized the importance of unity among party members and called for a collective effort to ensure victory in the forthcoming election.
Recall that Idahosa was once a member of the APC before he defected to the PDP in 2018.
He has now returned to the party, citing his disappointment with the PDP’s inability to deliver on its promises to the people of Edo State.
