Loveth Helping Hand Charity Foundation Feeds Vulnerable In Edo By Editor.

A group on the platform of Loveth Helping Hand Charity Foundation, has fed over 500 vulnerable persons on the streets of Benin City, Edo State to mark the Valentine’s Day celebration.

Addressing Journalists in Benin, the Board of Trustee (BoT) of the group, Mr. Nosa Kingsley Uwagboe, said February 14 has been set aside as a day to share love and sharing it with the vulnerable in the society, is a part of giving back to the society. He said there are a lot of persons who need love and care but are abandoned.

According to him “For today, we are looking at 500 persons. We have enough to go round. “Our policy is that, nobody should go hungry or no child should be left behind. That is why we also engage in school programmes where we take off children from the streets and enroll them in schools.

“We have deem it fit to come out to show love, to celebrate the Valentine’s Day with Nigerians and we understand that Valentine is about love and charity again, is all about love.

“We decided to come out probably to see what we can do, feed as many as we can” Uwagboe said.

He said since the charity work started in 2021, they have not looked back but keeps on impacting lives. “We normally do this every year. So this year is not an exceptional. It is more like a tradition for us.

“We came into being since 2021 and ever since, we have been showing this love to Nigerians. “It is not only feeding that we do, we have so many programmes, helping the poor, where we give out raw food items, rice, foods, garri and all that. We do that just to assist the people get out of poverty”, Uwagboe added.

He called on well meaning Nigerians to extend hands of fellowship to the vulnerable in the society so that it can be a safe place for everyone one to live in.
