In a historic development aimed at strengthening global recognition for African excellence, Mainseed Christian University, Georgia, USA, has entered into collaboration talks with the Best of Edo Award (BOEA) — one of Southern Nigeria’s most credible and reputable recognition platforms celebrating excellence, leadership, and impact across various sectors.
Over the years, the Best of Edo Award Brand has earned a distinguished reputation for integrity, transparency, and merit-based selection, positioning it as one of the most trusted and celebrated award institutions in Southern Nigeria.

As part of the collaboration discussions, Mainseed Christian University, a faith-based American institution committed to raising transformative global leaders through education, service, and moral excellence, will begin conferring Honorary Doctorate Degrees on exceptional individuals nominated and recommended by the Best of Edo Award Jury and Advisory Board.
This strategic partnership represents a significant step forward in extending the reach and recognition of Edo excellence to the global academic stage.
It underscores the growing influence of the Best of Edo Award as a platform that not only celebrates achievement but also connects honourees to international opportunities.
Speaking on behalf of both organizations, Dr. John Ighulu, Chancellor of Mainseed Christian University, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting that, it aligns with the university’s mission of recognizing and celebrating individuals who embody leadership, innovation, and service to humanity.
On the part of the Best of Edo Award Brand, the CEO and Convener, Sir Paul Ofoni, expressed profound appreciation to the Governing Council of Mainseed Christian University for considering the Best of Edo Award Brand for such a remarkable partnership.
