Renowned Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has died.
She died at the age of 40 after battling with cancer.
Her death comes nearly two years after she underwent surgery for breast cancer, a health battle she had openly shared with the public throughout her treatment.
The actress’ passing was announced on Wednesday by her colleague and close associate, Alesh Ola Sanni, who revealed that she died on Tuesday evening.
In an emotional Instagram post, Sanni wrote: “Couldn’t sleep since last night. It’s well.
“Rest in peace, my dearest sister Temitope Osoba. We had amazing times and good memories together till we meet again. I really don’t know what to say, mehn. Gosh.”
Following the news of her death, tributes have poured in from colleagues, fans, and members of the Nigerian film industry, who have taken to social media to mourn her loss and honour her contributions to Nollywood.
Newstracktoday reports that Temitope Osoba who is simply known as Tope Oosba is a Nigerian actress and movie producer born on December 2, 1985.
She is a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU)
