The Nigerian film industry has been hit with another deadly blow in a quick succession again.
First, it was John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu followed by Amaechi Muonagor and the very latest, is Junior Pope Odonwodo, also known as Junior Pope.
The young and ebullient actor who died at the age of 39, was reported to have fallen with four other of his colleagues into Anam River in Anambra State on their way to a location.
It was further gathered that after much search, their lifeless bodies were recovered from the river.
His colleagues have taken to different social media platforms to mourn his sudden death.
The deceased actor has acted in more than 150 Nollywood movies which include: “Secret Adventures”, “Mad sex”, “Bitter Generation”, “Vengeance of Bullet”, “The Cat”, “The Generals”, “Wrong Initiation” among others.
