The Governing Council of the University of Benin has named Ms Bimpe Omoyiwola as the substantive Registrar of the institution.l
This was made known in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Benedicta Ehanire, PhD.
She succeeds Mr Ademola Bobola whose five year tenure concludes on 31st March, 2026.
Ms Omoyiwola is from Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State and holds a Masters Degree, in International History and Diplomacy of the University of Benin, in addition to other postgraduate diplomas.
Until this latest appointment, she was a Director ( Registry), College of Postgraduate Studies, University of Benin.
A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria, Ms Omoyiwola is expected to assume duty on 1st April, 2026.
Newstracktoday reports that Omoyiwola is the 10 substantive registrar of the institution.
