Assistant pastor of God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Benin, Pastor Osazee Aibangbee has said evil altar has no respect for personality as it has the ability to bring down the very mighty except it is being broken and brought down by the power of God, through prayers.
He said this while speaking on the topic: “Destroying evil demonic altar” during the Sunday church service in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
He said that there are two altars, vis-a-vis the good altar, which is the one built by God and the evil altar, which is the one built by the devil
Pastor Aibangbee defined an altar as a structure raised, used for spiritual or religious purposes.
Aibangbee said both have the ability of speaking pending on the side of the divide one belongs to.
Taking his bible reading from the book of Judges 6:25, the clergyman gave an account of a man, Gideon who was meant to be a shinning light and a beacon of hope to his immediate family and to the society where he lives but due to the altar raised by his father, life itself became a burden to him, a situation that even compelled him to ask about the authenticity of the wonderful stories he was told about how God wroth wonders at the Red Sea and others.
He said God in His infinite mercy when He eventually steps into his case, He instructed him to pull down the altar erected by his father.
“Now it came to pass the same night that the Lord said to him, “Take your father’s young bull, the second bull of seven years old, and tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down the [a]wooden image that is beside it; and build an altar to the Lord your God on top of this [b]rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down”, Judges 6:25
The assistant pastor of the church said if the altar is not broken, the outcome becomes a pattern in the family where everyone becomes a victim of the circumstance.
He said some persons, no matter the efforts and time plough into what they do, there is little or no results achieved adding that, all these are forces of evil altars which must be destroyed for them to gain a new lease of life.
He said believers must begin to question certain situations that have become a recurring decimals either in ones life or family in order to tackle them through prayers.
The clergyman said that the medical doctors do that a lot by trying to profile the health of their patients.
He said they ask their patients of their family histories adding that, all these are geared towards preferring solutions to their health challenges.
He further prayed for all the members and every other believers who are suffering under any form of evil altars to be set free from them all by the raising of the anointing.
