The assistant pastor of God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Benin, Pastor Duke Iyamu, has called on Christians to develop the attitude of a farmer who tills the soil, plants and waits for the crops to grow to maturity before harvesting them.
He made the call while speaking on the topic:”And it shall come to pass” taken from the book of Habakkuk 2:3.
Pastor Iyamu said that the portion of the bible read dwelt so much on perseverance and hope adding that as believers, they should write down their vision and run along with it and that though it tarries, it must come to pass.
He urged them to remain focused irrespective of what they are going through as God will grant them favour even in the midst of their enemies.
“Now the Lord had said to Moses, “I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here, and when he does, he will drive you out completely.
“Tell the people that men and women alike are to ask their neighbors for articles of silver and gold.
“The Lord made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and Moses himself was highly regarded in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the people”, Exodus 11:1-3
The fiery clergyman further enjoined believers that they should keep persevering and hoping in God because both words still do wonders.
