Popular Benin Bakery Owner, Nosakhare Eghobamien Dies @ 84

Deacon Daniel Nosakhare Eghobamien, owner of Nosakhare Bakery and founder of Nosakhare Group of Schools is dead.

He died at the age of 84.

Eghobamien started the bakery business in 1968, becoming well-known for producing the popular “Plymouth Brown Bread” and “Bicycle Bread” in Benin City.

Thereafter, he founded the Nosakhare Model Education Centre in 1996.

The school, located along Upper Mission Road, began as a multi-purpose building that he eventually dedicated to education following spiritual and professional advice.

He was among the first in the region to integrate a pure Montessori method for younger children and establish a “Skills Acquisition Centre” (2002) to ensure students learned trades alongside academics.
