The family of PATRICK ORIABURE ISIMHONYA has distanced themselves from the purported marriage of their son, Mr. OSEJIE ISAAC ISIMHONYA to his wife, Mrs.ULOMA JUDITH CLAIRE OKEREKE now Mrs. Uloma ISIMHONYA.
The groom’s parents alleged that there consents were not sought.
According to a statement made available to Journalists distancing themselves from the purported marriage read thus “On Friday, the 27th June, 2025. Our Son, OSEJIE ISAAC ISIMHONYA purportedly had Traditional Marriage with ULOMA JUDITH CLAIRE OKEREKE being the daughter of the Family of GREGORY OKEREKE OKORONKWO and MRS. HANNAH OKORONKWO of EZI Ukwu Family of Ugbo Village Arochukwu L.G.A, Abia State.
“The marriage was conducted without the Knowledge and Consent of the Groom’s parents, Mr. PATRICK ORIABURE ISIMHONYA and Dr. KATE ODION ISIMHONYA of Ewossa Village, Igueben L.G.A, Edo State of Nigeria.
“MR. OROBOSA IGBETA was hired to act as the Parent of the Groom during the Marriage Ceremony, he said the actual Parents were incapacitated to attend the Marriage Ceremony.
“We are using this medium to inform the General Public that our Consent was not sought before the Marriage, we were not part of the Marriage. To the best of our knowledge, our Son is not yet Married”,
