Significance Of Democracy Day Lies In Its Call To Action, Says PRP Governorship Candidate

The governorship Candidate  of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in Edo State, Patience Ndidi Key has said that the significances of the Democracy Day celebration rests squarely on its call to action but not a mere rhetorics.

She also said that the day should serve as a reminder of the immense sacrifices and unwavering resolve of our forebears who fought tirelessly for the enthronement of a democratic society in Nigeria.

In a press statement made available to newsmen, Key said, that Democracy Day is not just a date in the country’s calendar; it is a profound symbol of the collective aspiration for a nation governed by the principles of freedom, justice, and equality.
