Youths from all walks of life that graced Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Foundation’s programme organized by Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu in Benin City were held spell bound by one of their sensational artistes, Timi Dakolo.

The youths were swept off their feet when he sang one of his hit tracks “Great Nation”

Newstracktoday gathered that the organizer of the event, Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu invited Dakolo to come and inspire the youths with his song, letting them know that Nigeria can still be great again if everyone believes, joins hands and works for its survival.

The event also saw the persons of MC Casino, Pikolo, Maleke Idowu, the “Mini mini wana wana” crooner and others who have caught their teeth in the entertainment industry in attendance to also encourage the youths to believe in themselves and in the country.

Newstracktoday also reports that about 150 artisans comprising tailors, shoe makers, welders, computer shop owners and other were given a grant of N150,000 each.

To further garnish the event, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Monday Okpebholo also doled out the sum of N10 million as grants to 10 more artisans.

Commending the donor, Erio Progress, one of beneficiaries, said she is going to invest the money into her computer business.

“This grant will enable me buy a new printer. That is what I majorly needed it for. It will help me buy a new printer so that I can advance my job”, Progress said.

Another beneficiary, Mowete Victoria who is into shoe making, described the gesture as a rare one. She thanked the donor for coming to her aid.

Being surprised by the kind gesture of the governorship candidate of the APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, who was present at the occasion, described the donor as generous giver who does not make noise but always keeps to his promises.

On the part of the organizer of the event, Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu, he urged the various beneficiaries of the grants to invest the money into their businesses and should not spend it on shawarma.
