The daughter of the general overseer of God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Barr. Eloghosa Akenbor has wedded her heartthrob, Barr.Segun Owolabi.

The Touch of Class wedding ceremony which took place at the church headquarters in Benin, saw the crème de la crème of the society ranging from the christian community, legal, business and other sphere of human endeavours in attendance to share in the tremendous joy of the couple.

The couple who were ushered into the packed full auditorium, danced into the waiting arms of the guests that have come to grace the epoch making event with them.

Speaking at the wedding ceremony on what he entitled “How to have a strategic impact in your marriage” Rev. Benjamin Okoedion of the Regint ministries International Incorporated, Benin, said every marriage that must succeed must adequately be prepared for.

The clergyman who took his bible reading from Psalm 133:1-3 and Proverbs 3:6 respectively, said the couple should learn to build their home on God if they must succeed.

Rev. Okoedion however gave the couple some marriage tips that would guarantee them a blissful home as they embark on a new and second phase of their lives.

The tips include honesty, constructive criticisms, fostering intimacy, prioritizing their emotions, encouraging team work, seeking their growth together and adequate communication.

Expressing her profound joy, mother of the bride, Pastor Mrs. Amen Akenbor, said “I feel great. I give God all the glory for his faithfulness for allowing me to see this day. To Him be all the honour and glory in Jesus name”.

She admonished the couple to keep trusting the Lord in all things and keep loving each other.

Pastor Akenbor urged them to be patient and work together in love.

Giving his fatherly advise to the young couple, father of the bride, Rev. Sunny Akenbor admonished them to love God and make Him first in everything that they do.

“They should love themselves, pray together, serve God together, love each other, and if there is any disputes, they should settle it amicably, no third parties. I wish them well.

“Marriage is easy when there is an understanding and if there is understanding, love, faithfulness , God and prayers, nothing can stop them. The marriage is blessed already.

The bride’s immediate younger sister, Osasenaga Akenbor, whose joy knew no bounds, wished the couple a prosperous happy married life and successes in all that they do.

For Mrs. Popoola .O, she advised the bride to be submissive to her husband adding that, that is the sure way of making a good home.

She also enjoined the bride to be tolerance and respects the family of the husband and with this, she maintained that the marriage will work out.

For the bride, Eloghosa Akenbor now Eloghosa Owolabi, her joy was indescribable as she said “I am marrying the most amazing man. He is caring, loving and super-supportive. I am so grateful to the Almighty”

For the groom, Barr. Segun Owolabi who could not hide his feelings has this to say “To be sincere, I am really happy. I am super excited. I can’t even pray for more than this. My joy is overwhelmed. Today has been so wonderful”

He further advised those looking for a life partner to always seek the face of God and not to be carried away by what they see.

“My advice is to just be yourself. Like the pastor (my father-in-law) has said, when God provides your own missing rib, everything will fall in place. Do not be carried away by the superficial. Seek God’s help and everything will fall in place

The ceremony which is akin to a carnival of sorts, has since become the talk of the town to the glory of God.
