The former Director, Defence Information Major General Abubakar Rabe (rtd) who was kidnapped in Katsina State is dead.
Rabe, who was kidnapped two weeks ago alongside his wife around the Matazu area of Katsina, was said to be travelling for a wedding when he was ambushed and kidnapped by the terrorists.
It was gathered that he died from complications arising from diabetes in the custody of those who took him hostage.
