‎Why Publishers Must Embrace Digital Marketing – Eromonsele

‎As part of efforts geared to enhance productivity and digital marketing, foremost publishing firm, Alowiz Limited, has organised a two-day capacity training workshop for its staff in Benin City, Edo State capital.

‎The Chief Executive Officer of Alowiz Publishers Limited, Dr. Aslem Eromosele, said publishers must embrace digital marketing to serve the wider public with their brands and remain in business.

‎Eromosele noted, “What we are doing here is to build capacity and creativity. It is quite a deviation from the conventional way of marketing for publishers.”

‎The publisher added that the workshop, titled: “Marketing Beyond the Bookstore”, is also geared to encourage reading culture among students in schools.

‎Dr. Eromosele added, “We also want to go into the market and be different from other publishers.”

‎The workshop which also includes session on emotional intelligence and communication, was in collaboration with Nolia consult.

‎Also, a seasoned journalists who is also the features editor of the Nigerian Observer Newspaper, Mrs. Ijeoma Grace Umeh, commended the publisher for the gesture, adding that managing rejection in marketing and adapting to digital tools is key to success.

‎ Umeh who advocated for community engagement and partnership, urged publishers to explore collaborations with schools, the Ministry of Education and community institutions to boost book sales.
