The founder and general overseer, God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Benin, Rev. Sunny Akenbor has said believers indeed can still lend a helping hand even when in difficulty.
He said this while speaking on the topic “How to attract divine helpers”
He said to be able to attract help from anyone, such person must develop an attitude of friendliness and shun every tendency of hostility.
Taking his bible reading from the book of Proverbs 18:24, Exodus 2:14-21 and other vital sections of the holy scripture to back up his points, said that Joseph even while he was still in the dungeon, rendered assistance to the Butler and the Baker by interpreting their dreams which eventually came to pass.
Akenbor said that Joseph did not turn them off because he was in a problem too, adding that, his act was a high sense of generosity.
The general overseer and founder of the church, said men in the past like Moses, Abraham and Joseph have gained favour through their single act of kindness to another.
He said Abraham while still not having a child was not deterred by his condition of childlessness but entertained strangers who turned out to be angels and in return, was left with a promise that manifested in Isaac.
He added that God can decides to help you by himself, using a fellow man or an angel.
The cleric further urged members not to be weary in well doing for they will reap them in due season if they faint not because every problem solved can either give you money or favour in return.
