The General Overseer, God’s Greater Grace General Assembly Intl Incorporated, Benin, Rev Sunny Akenbor has reminded christian faithful that though their beginning might be tough and rough, their end shall be great and glorious.
He said this while speaking on the topic: “I shall end well” taken from the book of II Chronicles 26:1-16, Ecclesiastes 7:8 and other portions of the bible respectively.
Akenbor said every great man had a very rough beginning but one thing that has always kept them going, is the believe that there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
He said Joseph a young man who was sold into slavery because of his gift, rode on a very rough road to become the prime minister of Egypt stressing that, Who would have thought that after spending 13 years in prison, he will become the prime minister of Egypt.
Rev. Akenbor said their case will not be like King Uzziah who became king at the age of 16 and reigned for 52 years adding that he began well as a very young king but along the line, he derailed by taking up responsibility that is not his and was infested with leprosy.
“But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall.
“He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense”, Akenbor said.
The clergyman maintained that whatever they are passing through as an individual can’t stop the plans and purposes of God in their lives.
He urged them never to abandon God as they sojourn on the journey of life as He is the only one that can lead them to their destinations safely.
