A Magistrate Court sitting in Wuse, Abuja, has remanded two siblings of Pastor Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Church.

The two siblings, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche were remanded for an alleged cyber-bullying.

Also remanded with the duo is Pastor Abraham Daniel, a former pastor at the Dunamis church.

They trio have been kept at the Keffi Prison in Nasarawa State.

They were reportedly taken to the Keffi Custodial Centre of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) on Monday evening following a remand order the Nigerian Police Force secured from the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja.

It was gathered that upon honouring the police invitation, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche as well as Daniel were kept in the police custody till Monday evening.

On January 8, 2025, the Intelligence Department of the Nigerian police had released the duo on bail.

Alex Enenche and Daniel were arrested and detained on January 7, 2025, over allegations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche, but were released the following day (last Wednesday) after an agreement was reached to resolve the matter amicably.

Alex Enenche and Abraham Daniel were instructed to report to the Force Intelligence Department (FID) on Friday, January 10, 2025, and Monday, January 13, 2025.

However, it was learnt that the FID had detained Daniel and Alexander Eneche, following their appearance at the department in response to a police invitation.

However, upon their reporting to the Force Headquarters on Monday, a source said that they were kept in police custody “till this evening and then brought a remand order from a Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6 this night to remand them in prison.”

“Upon honouring the Police invitation, Mr. Enenche Enenche, Alexander Enenche and Abraham Daniel were kept in Police custody till this evening when they brought a remand order from a Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja.

“The police claimed to have gotten an Order from the Magistrate Court, Zone 6, Abuja for their remand.

“The name of the Magistrate and number of days etc are not yet known at the moment,” said the source.

“Currently the three of them – Mr. Enenche Enenche, Alexander Enenche and Abraham Daniel have been taken to Keffi Prison on remand.”

However, the source said that a fundamental rights application would be filed on Tuesday (today)

“We will likely file fundamental right on this tomorrow,” the source maintained.
