The Vatican’s Sistine Chapel has witnessed the appearance of white smoke from the chimney indicating the election of a new Pope
Recall that 133 Cardinals entered Vatican’s Sistine Chapel on the 7th of May to elect a new pope.
Recall also that eligible cardinals under the age of 80 were to vote to elect a successor to pope Francis, who died on Easter Monday at the age of 88.
The new Pope is going to be the 267th leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
His name will be announced shortly as Catholic faithful all over the world wait for it in palpable joy.
